How can I book onto a course?
You need to book online for each course you wish to attend. Simply click the Apply button against the course information. First time users will need to enter their details to register, but for all subsequent bookings you only need to enter your e-mail address and password. A confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address you provide as well as to your school.

Why do I need to provide an e-mail address at the time of booking?

All course confirmations are now delivered by e-mail, as well as further updates we may issue about the course.

I don't have a hillingdongrid.org e-mail address - can I use the school e-mail address to register?
No. Each user account must have a unique e-mail address. You can use a private e-mail address if necessary although we recommend setting up and using a hillingdongrid.org e-mail address if you don't already have one. Using the school's e-mail address to register will cause problems with registration and CPD records. If you are experiencing problems, please contact the School Improvement Service on 01895 556207 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

What do I do if I haven’t received a confirmation?
Confirmation of each course booking should be received immediately after submitting a course application. If you do not receive a confirmation please contact the School Improvement Service on 01895 556207 or e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

I am on a waiting list - what does this mean?
If a course is already full when you apply you will automatically be placed on a waiting list. If we receive cancellations from delagates who are already registered, delagates on the waiting list will automatically be allocated places based on a first come - first served basis.

I need to cancel a booking…

Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel a booking. We can then offer your place to another applicant. Contact the School Improvement Service on 01895 552607 or e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Is my course still running?
Occasionally we may need to cancel or move a course. If this is the case we will e-mail every delegate on the register to inform them the course has been cancelled and to offer an alternative where possible.

Where are the courses held?
The course venue details are clearly indicated on the course information page with a map. They are also included with your e-mail confirmation.
